The Department of Computer Science was established in the year 2007 with the aim of providing inclusive technology education to students. The field of computer science is an extremely demanding one because of the continuous and rapid development of new technologies and applications. Consequently, the unique challenge for the department is to keep in pace with these rapid changes without compromising on the knowledge of basic concepts. Seminars and workshops are organized for students to augment the knowledge gained from the curriculum. The department prepares the young women to face the challenge of ever-demanding IT field. Apart from making them good IT professionals, the department takes care to instill strong moral values into each individual to make them good citizens of our nation to serve the industry and society constructively.
